    Hi All,

Just looking for your opinions / views on this:

The FAE board have decided to only have 2 Sim cases on this year's FAE exam instead of 3 Sim cases in prior years. So now there is 1 indicator for AAFRP, 7 - 9 indicators in the Core Comp and 7 - 9 indicators in the Core Sim. The elective is unchanged.
    • Do you reckon this puts us in a better / worse position than those who have previously sat the FAE?
    • Any idea why this has changed from previous years?
    Thanks.

Personally I think it'll make time management slightly easier but as this is my first sitting I'm open to correction

Was wondering if anyone may have soft copies of Mock 2010 & 2011 and any sample papers that were issued for Core & Sims? Had a look on site but nowhere to be found.

    Hi,
I have a quick ias 16 question in relation to Core FAE self case study "Fun Times".
Is it correct to depreciate all PPE over 5 years, for each division? It seems they should be depreciated differently?
The case states that some of the assets have a longer useful life than others. So shouldn't they be depreciated differently?
