This isn't Irish but is this it? the girl could freeze time. She was half Alien through her dad and they had a cube they hid around the house. It was a telephone to another planet.

Out of this world? this is the opening credits

It was definitely a puppet thing!

Was just about to post woof! there was also another programe that had a boy that would stop time with an old kind of stopwatch cant remember the name of it tho.

Remember the clangers? or the wisdom of the gnomes?

Bernard's Watch - the boy had a pocket watch to stop time

The clangers-were they even mice?? I know they all ate pea soup or something and whistled

I don't remember wisdom of the gnomes

It would be really cool if we had a TV forum or an all things retro forum.

    Or a wrestling forum!

When David died, I was hysterical, crying that is. Same as when the Snowman melted at the end of The Snowman. Some things shouldnt be seen by a youngster :(

 Yep! Except for Pickarooney. Remember him? He used to live in a rubbish tip and kidnap children. I think I would have cried if he showed up.

    Some quality memories here lads.

While we're on the subject, anyone remember a weird show called "Into the Labyrinth" that was on in the early to mid 90's? It had a load of time travel ****e and the plot basically revolved around retrieving some sword called the Nidus I think? I used to watch it religiously for a while and I've no idea why!

The Rimini riddle was surely conceived by someone on drugs?!

anybody rememober Sandokan, he was a sailor who was a tiger. Used to have a mouse who was his sidekick.

First series was him sailing around, second one was JOURNEY TO.THE CENTRE OF THE EARTH.

    Was absolutely class.

    Wishbone was good too.
