Converting Files

    Can you guys suggest a free app that will convert a bunch of files to MP4.

    I am currently using Handbrake, it works great but having to load up each file means I have to be at the mac.

    What I would like is to select a folder and let the app do its thing.

    I want to covert files so I can transfer them to my iPad2.

    I thought there was a feature in Handbrake whereby you can queue up the files you want to convert??

    What version of Handbrake are you using because queueing IS a feature?
    The queue is cached to disk
    may be a hint that you don't have enough spare disk space.

    Without trying to be obvious, did you import them into iTunes and let that convert them into m4v?

    I'll be honest, I didnt know you could do that with video files? Can you import and bunch at one time?

    It's always been a part of iTunes, just go under the File menu and add to library shift-select the files you want to convert and let it do its magic.
