    Howdy folks,

Been looking around the job market in Cork lately, and noticed the company Quest have been looking for various people to work in Mahon point.

I am currently employed, but was speaking to a client/old friend today who has just been hired by them and seems very pleased with the offer he received.

Has anyone here got any experience of them? Are they good to work for etc.

    Cheers.

I nearly went to work for them two years ago when they were first setting up in Cork, boss convinced me to stay and work full time remote from Cork but I got a really good vibe on the culture and those I met who were old Quest hands and those who were being hired to work there seemed good people.

Ironically, my company (Dell) bought them this summer and I've been in there quite a bit the last few months, everybody seems very happy with themselfs and still a good feel to the place. Mind you, the new building is seriously swish so I'm sure that helps.

I've been with Dell for 12 years and still like the company, I've also work with most of our acquisitions pretty closely and we seem to be pretty good at leaving them be culturewise so I wouldn't expect much to change in atmosphere just cause there's a new sign over the building.

Good luck if you go for it!

    M.

I'm in a technical pre-sales group, called the Dell Solutions Centers, there's a bunch worldwide but the concept started in Limerick. We show the shiny to the business type customers.

I specialise in storage which is where things like the interweb keeps it's stuff when it's not using it.... and even when it is using it

Like a lot of companies there's a remote program and it seems to be growing fairly agressively, good way to get/keep talent...

    (I'm living proof!)
