one of my old irc nicks was carNage, um and i just got back my really old boards account which i forgot the password to..

Used to be Freak, wayyy back in the day. Sir_Xylem then for a while (during the 'Quake2 Era'). I was also Solas at some time or another.

First internet name was LiveOrDie, that was when I was playing Jedi Knights and quake 1 online, then changed it to Thorbar after I read one of my favourate books by Tad Williams with a character called Thargor.

Playing Quake, I went through various monickers and never hung around long enough to join any "clans" (or get any good!).

I was 'Celt'/'CyberCelt' and 'Weirdo' for a couple of years on Telnet talkies (used to hang out on the Telnet talkie "Lighthouse" and ran one for a while called 'CyberCeltic', based first on Limerick RTC's system and then UL CSN's Skynet) and then, when it became more popular, IRC. I ended up hating the prefix "Cyber". Go figure. Became 'masterWEB' for a short while (based on my then job description of 'webmaster') until I decided it was feckin' pretentious.

Have been Bard since the beginning of 2000 and it's pretty much stuck at this stage.
