    Jon Daly, Ireland, Catholic, Rangers.

I'm sure you can figure out the rest of what was said.

And Sevco and mentally retarded. Fairly poor wind up, nothing much. Bit like Basil Fawlty mentioning the war.

Be interesting to see exactly what they decide to call Ibrox now that the naming rights have been confirmed as sold to Sports Direct for a few years. Not many bears happy about this but can understand the reasoning behind it. As long as it has Inrox on the name it won't be to bad and to the fans it will always be Ibrox

    the sports direct arena. :o

Probably close but it will be along the lines of the sports direct Ibrox arena

Probably something like Ibrox by Sports Direct or whatever.

Didn't the rangers announce a deal with Puma?

    http://www.genesissports.co.uk/pro-sports/Our-Clubs

why aren't they here? something not right.

They wouldn't be just buying the kits off them like other small clubs? rather than in a partnership?

Interested to here the bears views on this one.

How many free tickets do rangers hand out??

I'm sure every club has a certain amount of free tickets, I saw pictures today of dozens of tickets rangers v annan for £0.00 and the implication was that it was to boost attendance figures.

I guess I was wondering is that true of would it be normal behaviour??

Most clubs will have a certain amount of complimentary tickets. Would love to see these Pics. Of course they wouldn't be photo shopped or anything.
Really Rangers would get no advantage by boosting attendance figures it would be pointless

Every club hands out comps to staff, and i know Rangers and Celtic at least often give them to kids who are there for community days etc.
I couldn't put a number on it for you.

Seriously though, we get slagged over this attendance thing - yet there seems to be a contingent of Celtic fans who are every bit as intent on finding reasons for it as Rangers fans.

    It's all a bit petty.

The usual fare at Ibrox today - start brightly and then go to walking pace for no apparent reason.
Shiels stretchered off, McKay on - at least we'll have 11 players now.

I was just wondering did anyone know if the suggestion that a large amount were being handed out as a means to boost figures were true.

I know a certain amount of free tickets is normal like you said.

Ultimately I don't care as both clubs pull impressive attendances regardless of how "boosted" either clubs figures are.

Just curious as to how far the clubs actually go in this particular cock measuring contest.

I doubt very much if it is a deliberate attempt at boosting tickets. It surprising the amount of comps that are on the go at big clubs. I got two tickets for every home game for a couple of years of a Chef at Ibrox and I wasn't the only one that got tickets from him

I wasn't talking about you dude - more the people who think that putting a photo online is some sort of "proof" or the fans from both sides who abuse the freedom of information act.
