    As was expected, the Golf won by a huge margin in the 50th anniversary of the European car of the year election

    Nice to see that the Toybaru came second. Unusual for a sporty car to feature in the top 3 and only one outright sports car has ever won it

    Must take a spin in these. Was a bit underwhelmed with the Mk6, but maybe I'm not the target market. Thought the Mk5 pushed the game forward in its time, in the same way that the Mk4 did too.

    Looking forward to the new Leon and Octavia too.

    It deserves it, it's a very good car but needs a decent engine in it to be great. But that's when the prices start to become ridiculous...
