    Although not necessarily posted on this account, the first post I made (About 8 years ago when I was 11) was some question about port forwarding for a HALO server. I distinctly remember adding an entire lineful of smileys at the end of the post >_>

    Joined when I was answering phones 8 hours a day. Boards was always on a tab on my browser. It made me smile many times when I was fit to jump off the building to escape my shift. So I made an account.

    I joined last year....was on another forum and sometimes they'd talk about boards. It was mostly in a bad light if Im being honest, had a look around AH and though it was gas :) Havent been on the other site since!

    Overheard in Dublin brought me here, can't remember why though. But I heard there was a bit of banter on this forum so I joined. After Hour has been my main local for years now. Probably the one forum I frequent the most. Next would be Rock & Metal, and Pro Wrestling.

    I was googling something (forget what) and boards came up in a search result. I didn't join up straight away, but used to look at various forums at random. By accident, I discovered there was a thread about Soap Operas and that was the clincher. Pathetic I know :o

    My first post was in the Ireland Offline forum giving out about the state of Telecoms infrastructure and cost in this country.

    In the 11 years since, it has improved but its hard to believe there are still black spots nearly as bad as back then.

    Funnily enough the OP prompted me to check my first post on the day I got 100mbit broadband.

    Hey, past me!! You've finally hit the broadband big-time!!! :D
