Is moss like catnip?

There is a patch of moss in the grass in my garden and my 2 idiots are instantly attracted to it, rolling around in it and chomping it like its catnip! Does it have the same effect?? The dog is sitting here wondering what the hell are the cats doing!!

Those pics are really cute

Anyway, my younger tom, 1 year in April, brings those chunks of moss inside...loads of them. Throws them up in the air, jumps and runs after them, and if someone dares to go near him, he growls like a werewolf :pac:
