Just thought I'd set up a thread now that the opening rounds are well under way.

In Connaught, Colmans disposed of Roscommon CBS quite easily if the truth be told. Gerald's to play Muredachs this coming week. A lot of talk aout this Geralds team but I think, that if they do get past Muredachs (which is no guarantee), Colmans may just have too much.

What's goin on in the other provinces??

Leinster B Final is between Ardscoil Ris, the Dublin winners and last years All-Ireland B Runners up, and Naas CBS. Hopefully Ardscoil will get the back to back Leinster, we had a strong year last year, but we've lost some players who didn't do transition year, in particular Cormac Costello and Gavin Burke. Naas are looking like a strong outfit too, and seem to be making mince meat of anyone they've come up against. St Pauls Bessbrook, last years All-Ireland B winners, are back on track for another victory, looking very strong.

Roscommon CBS under-performed after narrowly losing the league final earlier this season but Strokestown have won the Connacht C championship and St. Aloysius College, Athlone will be taking on Tubbercurry in the B final.

Can't find any thread more recent about 2nd level, but this comeback needed a mention.

From 5-11 to 0-00 behind at half time to winning the match is quite a feat.
