Why is iTunes the only windows program that won't allow me access the taskbar

If I have iTunes open and the window maximized, I cannot view the Windows taskbar. The only way I can access the taskbar is to flick to a different program using Alt+Tab, then if I move the mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen, the taskbar pops up. iTunes stubbornly refuses to let me see the Windows taskbar.

iTunes is the only Windows program which behaves like this. Firefox/Word/Excel etc. all allow me to see the taskbar.

    Running Win7 64-bit on a Lenovo SL510.

    Any ideas?

Doesn't do it for me on W7. Curious.

You know you can hit the windows button on your keyboard too to get the taskbar up. :)
