Can holes be fixed on leather boots?

    Hi guys,

    I was wondering if anyone knows if there's such a thing as a leather repair kit for leather boots? I bought a new pair of boots before Christmas but I've got a large bunion on one foot that I can't afford to get removed and already it's wearing a hole on the side of my shoe. They were quite expensive and I don't want to fork out more money again. If I can't do it myself, do you think it's something a cobbler could fix? Anyone know anything about this?

    Yeah I'd rather do that. Do you think they could do something? Stupid question probably as I'm guessing there's no cobblers about but thought maybe someone got theirs fixed before.
