backpacker insurance

Hi There,
I am looking for travel insurance to cover my flights if anything occurs, lost/stolen items, 3 months in south east asia and (2 months in Australia.(optional) can anyone recommend any got insurance deals? its for myself and my boyfriend both over 30. We have got a quote of 500 for 3 months, just wondering is this standard?

off the top of my head I don't think that's cheap at all. Last year I got insurance for myself and girlfriend for 6 months(inc Oz) €550 total.

Going go Asia for two months in two weeks time, paid €110 for the two of us covers everything with AXA online.

Backpackers travel insurance it was with. A Google search will get you there. I badly hurt my back while I was halfway through my 6 month trip and had to come home. They flew me home first class and everything was reimbursed. Took about 3weeks out there though to sort things out etc.

But with a slipped disc I couldn't continue so they got me home.

has anyone any thoughts on insure and go.ie? plan looks good but a few bad reviews online.. was looking at world nomads also..
