I was in the gadget shop in Dundrum and noticed an Ready to Fly model with built-in First Person View.
Just googled it there an I think it was this one:

    http://www.tjshobbies.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=538

In the specs the video/audio is transmitted 5.8Ghz and the range is 400m.

So is this frequency allowed in Ireland? I know there are some restrictions on what frequencies that can be used and also would 400m range be typical for FPV setups?

Its very tempting in this RTF package, to dabble in FPV!!

the wing span is small enough with it being less than a meter so the wind could toss it around a bit if there is any more than a light breeze but its a good concept all the same it would be nice to see the fpv gear in a 1400mm wing span gilder

I used to use it in a radian. Eagle tree pro system and tracking patch antenna.
