Fat yes but more accurately that's either morbidly obese, or super morbidly obese, depending on her weight.

It all depends on how much i have had to drink because many years ago i was well on and tripping around a bit and only focused on two things bobbing in the moonlight.

When i went home with her she seemed nice and curvy and thought she was the real curvy deal, but that was until i woke up 2 hours later and thought i was in a water bed until i realized i was actually on top of her. Never again will i trust my drunken brain.

Second one looks obese (I don't mean "OMG SHE'S SO FAT" obese, I mean 30%+ body fat obese).

If she is fat, then i am an atmospheric weather balloon. Skinny more like - with some muscle she is.

Toni Minichiello, 45, who has coached the 2012 poster girl since the heptathlete was 11 years old, revealed that a "high‑ranking person" – he would not say exactly who – had suggested "that she's fat and she's got too much weight".

The fuck is wrong with people?

Any extra weight she carries is muscle and sexiness.

I like a bit of size on a girl. Some might be classed as curvy, some might be classed as fat. Doesn't matter it as long as I get a horn on :D

I would not say that pic is curvy, she looks slim to me.

Thats the whole point. Curvy means slim, but with roundy-bendy shapes. You have just implied there that curvy equates to being heavier than "slim", ie fat. It doesn't.

Kelly brook is curvy and is no way fat. She's the definition of hoootttt

I hate references to 'real' women, invariably there's a picture of some chubby woman boasting about how she loves her 'curves', but she's really just fat. Is there some kind of collective delusion that allows men and women to say they are 'big boned' or the old 'I have a slow metabolism' rather than admit they are a fat tie?

I'm a lovely slim person, so I don't have these sort of delusions.

Eh, I think your drunk or your boards.ie accounts has been jacked, or, just you know, you're an enormously horrible person:P

But the bold bit does kind of hit on something. You usually see it on Facebook, but some people post a picture of, say, Marylin Monroe and say "Real Woman have curves".

Like, it's meant to be saying that people don't like unhealthy dieting models or whatever, but it's a bit cruel:S

What about women that are naturally skinny, or like a slim athletic body, or have naturally broad shoulders, or a flat chest, or any type of body that doesn't fit into the "curvy" definition. It seems kind of strange to be saying "Hey, women stop losing weight, that's bad for you" and on the other saying "now here's another body image you'll have to compare yourself to".

On what could be classed as curvy, has to be Sofía Vergara :D

What bugs me is when "real women" is used to describe the slightly chubby, curvy is a fairly harmless euphemism.. Does exercising somehow cause you to be fake?

For example I'd classify Adele as being overweight, too much beef on the face, she'd be quite attractive if she lost about two stone.

Personally I like somebody who's at their optimum weight for their height, there's nothing attractive in my eyes about women who are severely underweight.

I gotta be honest, I'd sooner the beefy head of Adele than a horse like Sarah Jessica Parker! :D

You don't think so, does that make it true?

Curvy is not slim, Curvy is not fat either, it's somewhere in the middle.

I hate references to 'real' women too, as if I'm somehow less than real or not a real woman because I'm not curvy, or fat or whatever term you want to use. And it's always other women who use that term.

As long as women try and succeed in dividing and putting other women down men who would do so don't need to raise a finger.

In all honesty, i would personally go for the curvy woman than the skinny ones. I think all women thin or curvy are nice as some thin women have such a beautiful face that suits them as a thin woman.

But there is a line when it comes to this... ie. when you watch a woman walk, keep a close eye on her posture and if she gyrates intensively in this motion then that's too curvy for my liking. Remember the water bed. ;)

    I propose the following distinction:

If you curve in around your midriff you're curvy, if you curve out you're fat.

It's great to see a new topic brought up for a new change.

The answer is still the same: "Curvy" means "voluptuous," not "overweight," though some overweight women understandably describe themselves as "curvy."

Not all overweight women do so, and this is not an exclusively Irish phenomenon.

Also, not all men like women of the same type.

I'll let you know if the answer's the same in a few weeks when this comes up again.

And do you look like a male version of Jessica Ennis then?
She looks amazing I think-because she's a strong and fit and healthy woman, NOT because she has low body fat. But then she's an elite athlete. 99.9% of women could never look like her because of the extreme dedication and work it would take in the gym and on the track to do so.

    You do realise that, yes?

Some people get themselves worked up over nothing. It's a made up label that you can choose to buy into or not. As usual, there is a middle ground.

Put it this way, if you are Salma Hayek or Christina Hendrick, you look great. If you are Lisa Reilly or Jo Brand, you look unhealthy.

If you're naturally slim like Mila Kunis or Miranda Kerr, you look great, if you are Posh Spice or Keira Knightly, you look unhealthy.
