Using bank atm card with amazon.

Normally used 3v card but can you bank atm card be used with amazon?

Is it a Visa Debit card?

If it's a Visa Debit then yes
If it's a Laser I'm not sure
If it's a standard ATM card I doubt so

Pretty sure for amazon a Laser card is no use, and a regular ATM card is no good, has to be an ATM. Though it's been years since I saw an ARM card that didn't have at least Laser...

Yeah I've been able to buy things with no hassle with a PTSB Visa Debit, never tried with other cards so the rest is pure guesswork on my part.

Haven't used the thing yet. Not up to date on on line banking. Laser AIb one.

If its an AIB laser then no. I.E it has the laser logo on it.

If its an AIB Visa Debit then yes

You can use a visa debit card on Amazon but you can't use a Laser card as Amazon only accept laser cards issues in the UK.

Amazon.co.uk do accept laser cards, this changed a few months back

Laser Cards issued by banks in Ireland:

We accept Laser cards issued by: Allied Irish Banks, Bank of Ireland, and Danske Bank (formally known as National Irish Bank).
