Hi all . I've NEVER been to court before an I'm due to appear as a witness in a civil dispute . Should I wear suit ? Or shirt an tie or just dress casual/smart ?

As long as you don't show up in jeans & trainers, you should be ok. Shoes, dark trousers, shirt & tie should do the trick

If you support the person on whose behalf you are a witness dress nicely, a suit or slacks and shirt. If you are a witness for the opposition wear a dirty tracksuit and trainers. Create the impression that suits your purposes
