Is it possible to open a southern bank account without an address in the south? I have an address and bills in the north.

    Hi Zcott,

Thanks for taking the time to get in touch.

As a rule you would need to live or work in the location of the branch you are looking to open an account with. If you request to open an account with a branch outside Northern Ireland, you would be required to provide a valid reason for this. It is then at the discretion of the branch whether to go ahead with the application.

    Thanks
    Tara
