Hi, my father has an old answering message of my (deceased) mother which he refuses to replace.
It freaks out callers but he doesn't want to lose that connection.
Any ideas how I could digitise the message so he could listen to it at his leisure (he has a PC and while no Bill Gates can work the basics)?
The answering machine is a DECT phone yoke IRC so one solution would be to record it over the telephone network and give him him an MP3 of it.
But that would be a bit crackly, any other ideas much appreciated.

Maybe call it from Skype or a similar tool, and record the call?
