Random noises from electric shower

    Hi all

I have a Triton T90 (pic attached) that has started making noises at random times during the day. It sounds like a big kettle coming to the boil and lasts around 10 seconds each time it occurs. Around the same time that this behavior started it started getting difficult to set the temperature during a shower. When set to the normal setting it would keep jumping from boiling hot to ice cold.

I'd appreciate if anyone has any idea what might be causing this and can it be fixed or does it need to be replaced

    Thanks in advance

    Mark

I'm guessing you're in a hard water area. Sounds like your element is fecked with lime.
You say the shower is making random noises? U mean like when it's not even being used??

Yeah. Seems to happen every 3-4 hours roughly even when no-one is using the shower or anything else that is plumbed

That's new to me. I'd call a priest!
