    Hi,

Just wondering what is Norbrook (pharmaceutical company) in Newry like to work for? Have saw one post on another forum given it a real bad review, thinking of applying for job there. I know there is all different kinds of jobs there but what would pay be like in sterling for routine lab job with a degree?

My ex girlfriend works for them. Nightmare. No phones, you have to clock in, not allowed to leave for lunch, dock pay if you are late, (she got snowed in last year and made it to work 30 mins late and was docked half a days pay. It was her first time late).

High staff turnover and moral is very poor as staff are constantly being watched by a very over bearing HR dept.

And if you're not from Newry be prepared to dine with the foreign workers.

....sounds a lot like a multinational based in Ireland where the Salmon leaps.

Great place to work, if you like ironic comedy.

Anything BUT a great place to work.

I love being self employed in a free lance basis by SEVERAL clients.

Makes them far less likely to grind you down with futile regulations and petty regulations designed to keep you isolated and uncontactable.

Prisoners are not allowed mobiles, they should be the only ones.
