    Hi,

    How do employers tend to view FAS computing qualifications vs those from third-level institutions, such as a Masters conversion course?

    I work in a large multinational software development house.
    If you tried applying to us for a software development job you wouldn't get past the recruitment agency nor our HR department without a degree.

    What sort of job are you considering in computers?

    Qualifications get you to the interview, experience is what bags you the job. Most employers look for either a third level degree and / or Comptia, CCNA, Microsoft certs.

    While others will think the above are useless unless you have the ECDL :pac:
