stationary to write a love letter

Hi all,

any one know where I can find a special paper to write a love letter. Its a very special occasion and have a lot to say, want something really really special or may be an online printing option but has to be THE BEST...wont mind spending 100- 200 euro.

Any help appreciated.

Mods please move somewhere else if needs to be.

whatever about the paper type, I think love letters should be written by hand - or did you mean online printing of the stationery that you will write the letter on?

I find trying to write a letter whilst in motion is very difficult so yes I would advise writing it whilst stationary.

Aww such a nice thought! How about you buy some nice stationary for a tenner and buy a btl of perfume for the 100-200and give that with the letter.

I just think you are wasting money on the paper - the intended recipient will not recognize it's value.

I'd love to get a love letter. The most I got off my boyfriend was a few scrawled lines in a Christmas card with "Don't tell anyone I said this or they'll think I'm homo/soft"

No, I have seen somewhere that you can write your message and it will be printed like embossed gold/silver writing, if that makes sense.

I once wrote a love letter in biro on A4 foolscap, that made a man run out of his office to catch the next train down from Dublin to see me.

Belvedere Bond, you'll find it in most stationery shops, and a good writing pen - makes all the difference!

I'd suggest you roll the letter up like a scroll with a pink ribbon and attach it to a bottle of Romance (Ralph Lauren).

unless your gf is a some sort of nerd writer or novelist this 200 euro will be wasted, buy her jewellery and e-mail her would be my advice

handwritten is my choice but atleast if I find a special paper will make me happy. Its for wife and its for anniversary...

It's a nice thought OP, and I love the smell of a ream of fresh paper and the haptic satisfaction of pressing a pen into it.

The expense should really be in the words you write on it. Sounds like you want to write your letter on something that will last a long time...

but please bear in mind that it could end up in a forgotten in a drawer or shoebox, or eventually thrown out.

Why not write it on seed paper, so the recipient can plant it and give it a better life?

My suggestion:
Buy nice paper - easons might be able to help you
Nice pen (not biro) - maybe even a gold pen?!
Nice gift or perfume or jewellery which will remind her of the letter every time she wears it

I am not trying to be funny or even trolling, but for a valentine's day letter, I would simply get:

This "Premium" paper
Some Pink/Red glitter gel pens
And just in case you are stuck for words, there is even a Love Letter Generator

Also attach some bows left over from Christmas and spray the letter with some cheap €1.99 spray!
