course transfers.

so i found out that if I pass semester 1 and 2 i can add points to my leaving cert results and transfer to a different course? Does anybody know anything about this? the technicalities and will it effect my grant ? Thanks in advance:)

Grant is only given if you move up a level.

doing 1st year again means you wont get the grant UNLESS you move up a level. i.e from level 6 to 7 or 7 to 8.
