Wiring Up A Sky+HD Box?

A friend of mine has bought a Sky+HD box from a friend who has emigrated. The box has no HDMI lead but has the power lead, box and remote control. My friend has an old white Sky Box and wants to wire up the HD box in its place. Is it difficult to do, and can you connect the sky+hd to the tv with a scart rather than a HDMI lead? I would be grateful of any help or advice.

You can use a SCART lead but the output will be SD only. HDMI cables are cheap, no need to get an expensive one.

Yeah that's fine. The only other cables would be two from the dish and the power cable. It's pretty much a straight swap, except you will need to call Sky to get the viewing card paired with the new box.
