Renting land carlow/kilkenny

    Anyone know what the situation with renting tillage land in carlow/kilkenny area? I know it probably is a stupid question but is it difficult to come by these days? I heard it went a bit mad in cost a year or two ago

    you will need deep pockets to take tillage land in Carlow at the moment. some set at auction last week made up to 345/acre(excluding commission and vat)

    €345/acre?! that is madness, who could make profit at that! Thanks for the feedback, I guess that tillage game is a bit of a disease if lads are paying that much for it
