netflicks probs through HDMI cable

Hi all, Im trying to watch netflicks through my TV but when i connect my macbook pro to the TV through a HDMI cable the playback on the TV is very 'jerky', but Its perfect through the laptop. Can anyone suggest how to get around this issue? as its a bit of a waste having netflicks if I cant watch it through my TV. Thanks

Maybe its not powerfiul enough to run both screen and TV at the same time?

Buy a cheap PS3, ya could even get one that doesn't work (play discs)

i have a ps3 that doesnt play discs, ye can have it for nowt if ye want
