car radio code?

    Hi, recently bought second hand vauxhall corsa and i need the code for the radio as it says 'safe' on the screen at the min , i have been told that its because someone has entered the code incorrectly too many times and locked it!! does anyone know how i can activate it again without hassle??

    You ll probaly have to go to a main dealer for the code. They usually charge as well the creeps.

    to change it from SAFE you need to turn off the radio then press and hold the AS button then the radio is ready to enter a code.
    if you can't find the code in any of the owners documents it might be worth extracting the radio as it might be written on top of it if not its either call the dealer or your local radio decoder.

    GF has same problem. Opel dealers are closed in the area, no handbook.

    there are 2 makes of the cdr 2005, which type is yours..... vdo or delco?
