I have shares in glanbia and greencore in Ireland, currently living in the uk. As these are Irish shares what is the easiest ways to sell them in the uk, and if I do sell them will I be able to be paid my money in sterling.

Would I be better selling in Ireland and transferring money from € to £. Thanks in advance.......

Greencore is traded on the london exchange so it will be in Sterling anyway.
Glanbia is traded on the irish and london exchange. Do you know which one?

Either way you will only get paid in the currency that the stocks are traded in.

How are you currently holding the shares? Do you have the certs?

Thanks for reply, yes I have the stock certs, inherited them 4 yrs ago seems like a good time to sell, but would be obviously easier to sell them here in uk
