Hold on a minute. The woman was probably trying to create employment. If nobody left their trolly back then B*Q would have to employ someone to retrieve them.

I leave the trolly back at supermarkets because I have left a deposit on it. No other reason.

In a similar type of case, and something which really annoys me, I never, ever, clean up after myself in any US fast food restaurants. They probably want me to stick a brush up my ar*e and sweep the floor on the way to the bins. The restaurant should employ their own people to do this. Tight fisted bastar*s would have me cook my own food if they could get away with it.

And its not as if the food is cheap in these restaurants either. Let these huge multinationals employ a couple of extra staff out of their vast profits.

She left the trolley in the middle of the road, blocking other cars from getting past, she knew what she was doing, she was being ignorant and lazy.

Also, not bothering to pick up your tray and drop your rubbish in the bin on the way out the door of a fast food restaurant is also laziness, pure and simple.

    Yeah classy, both of you....

I'd be annoyed about that cow too, but had I seen someone freaking out like the OP I would so decorate the roads with trolleys whenever I see his car anywhere.

I take it you've never ever worked in retail, because if you did you would realise that these staff work their arses off all day in some of the countries lowest paying jobs, and then your laziness just adds more and more onto their already overfull workload.

People like you are no better than the woman the OP referred to.

As a race we are f*cked if these people keep breeding.

Have you also noticed that they do tend to breed more than the nice considerate, intelligent people too

This is quite worrying unless you consider the silver lining.........fat, lazy, stupid inconsiderate people make life easier for everyone else

    how? I hear you ask....

well for a start they are predictably lazy and greedy and this makes them

    easier to compete against

    easier to manipulate

easier to sell **** that they don't really need to

easier to relegate less desirable roles in life etc

so the next time a fat, lazy stupid person causes you minor inconvenience think of it as a small price to pay for all the wonderful benefits they bestow upon you the rest of the time and give them a nice smile.

(If you doubt me, consider the alternative and its effect on our consumer driven society - you would be wearing itchy hemp trousers right now or some similar horror)

Yep just as the title says.

Just left B+Q in tallaght there and watched a fat, ugly, pig faced, lard arsed woman load her car boot with coal and then just push the trolley into the middle of the road, blocking any car looking to drive towards the exit.

I drove forward to it and blared the horn at her but she looked at me with a big dopey, gormless fcuking stare and then jumped into her car and drove off. I jumped out, flicked the finger at her and moved the trolley the extra 10 metres to the trolley bay.

What the f*ck is wrong with tits like this? I see it every day. People who suit themselves and can't be arsed to do the normal thing. C*nts driving down bus lanes, people f*cking rubbish out the window of their car, twats walking to the front of queues - generally people not giving a f*ck about anyone or anything only themselves.

As a race we are f*cked if these people keep breeding.

You come across as a lovely person, NOT. You somehow think you are better than this person because you put a trolley back in its place.

When I was a young 'un I got paid the princley sum of 1.50 punts an hour to collect shopping trollies in the local supermarket carpark.
Me and my Sony Walkman which cost the fantastic sum of 60 punts. Price of batteries killed me!

Think back to your local supermarket in the early nineties and I'm sure there was a young lad like me there too

Tossed on the scrapheap by coin deposits :(

It's the awful people who stand right up next to you in a queue that gets me.

Going through a self-service in Tescos when you are still packing your shopping, they start chucking their rubbish food onto the scanner.

Paying for petrol, paying for parking, they are on your shoulder.

I have the right cash. It takes time to for the transaction to go through. You nutcase.

Yeah, posting on the internet about someone else posting on the internet but not actually having anything to add. Clever.

Fair fúck's to the OP for highlighting the ignorant selfish scumbag practices of the ugly fat wench in Tallaght.

You clearly missed my point, I was highlighting the fact that most Irish people avoid confrontation and then go on mega rants later in the pub/school/internet/etc scratching their heads wondering why people continue to act inconsiderately towards others. How is starting a thread on boards.ie going to change ANYTHING about this rude woman's behaviour?

I worked in Supermacs for a while after leaving school.
One of the most dreaded duties you could be rostered for was 'The Floor', ie, keeping the seating areas clean and tidy. It was as boring a job I ever had.

There are only so many times you can go over the same area with a dustpan and brush when things are quiet.

I used to love it when people left a mess after them as it gave me something to do.

The patronising bleeding heart stuff about people working their arses off for peanuts is a bit of a myth. When I worked in Supermacs, and various pubs, it was to pay my way through college. I had some of the best fun I ever had working there. (When not rostered for the dreaded 'Floor') !

Yeah, it's better to leave one's table as the majority do. It's predictable and you can build an optimised work-flow around it. The occasional good samaritan would try to empty their own tray, but make a total balls of it - leaving the salt-covered tray (with a paper mat stuck to it with ketchup) in my pile of spotlessly clean and wiped trays. Contaminating the surrounding trays with their filth. Also making their (now clear) table appear to have never been occupied, leaving me no indication as to which table needs to be wiped down. So not only have they contaminated my stack of trays, they've disguised their filthy table as one I'd previously cleaned.
Then I'll have a new customer come in and sit at that table, waving me over to clean it off for them, as if I left it in that state.
Really people, you're not helping, and any floor staff who thank you for it are incompetent and take no pride in their work.

I was on permanent floor duty for a few months. I don't think the manager liked me.

Few times I've been through a Self-Service Tesco that has said APPROVAL NEEDED, when something is barcoded wrong.

    Pissed off.

    Snap!

I worked in Wendy's (now extinct fast food place) in the late eighties and had the exact same experience - I used hate when people put their trays in the bin themselves and loved when a big mess was left because it gave me something to do.
