Just woke up with the worst sore throat I've had in years, ugh. At least this explains why I've been such a crankypants all week.

Also on the upside, I appear to also be in pixiebeans alternate universe, it's lovely here!

Just stuck my motivation t-shirt up on the wall. When I can fit into it I will be happy. :)

I'm sorry for bring this up again, but can I ask some clothes advice please. I have a pair of black trousers with grey pin stripe and a light grey jacket, would a very light stone/almost cream shirt be ok under? Money is way to tight for me to go buy a work outfit (unless I get the job). Or would I be better off wearing a plain dark green top under the jacket and keeping it closed? It's not a suit jacket, it has a mandarin collar, but is tailored and looks smart.

I would not recommend sticking that to the wall with electrical tape like my t-shirt. :p

Make sure the almost cream shirt doesn't look like it's meant to be white and needs a wash, though. :o

Cream is neutral enough that it should be fine.

It's far superior to Seph's. Mine would be about the same as yours, it's not terrible but considering it's UPC it should be a lot better. I don't know why they aren't better. :(

I know this is nerdy, but access to high speed internet was a key thing we looked for when we were evaluating houses to rent.

I work from home half the week and do a lot of web-conferences and rely on skype so it has to be fast and reliable for me to work.

Is there anything specific you do to get it that fast? Do you use wifi or have your computer directly connected to the router?

I use wifi but we have the house wired for UPC 50 MB service. Supposedly now they have packages that can run 100 to 150 but your area has to be wired for it.

I think that is one thing Ireland really needs to catch up on is access to high speed internet. If we want to keep bringing in businesses that are on leading edge of technology we need to be able to support their workers.

I actually moved to my new house because I'd get decent internet (other reasons but that was a big one :) )

    I'm a total internet addict.

I have noticed that UPC seems to significantly better in Cork than in Dublin. Mine is usually around the 20 mark which isn't awful but considering it's supposed to be at 50. I know UPC is based in Cork, I wonder if that has anything to with it, probably not but it's interesting.
