Amazon's Dublin Distribution Centre

    Bought an LCD TV on Amazon and as it was faulty, requested to return it to them.

    So printed out the label and sent it off to Johnston Logistics in Rathcoole, as requested on the Jan 10th.

    It showed up on their tracking system as received on the 14th and only tonight (8:10pm, Jan 21st) is it showing as: "Shipment has left the (Rathcoole) distribution center."

    I asked Amazon do they know why it was just sitting out there for over a week and they said that it was normal.

    Anyone else have similar delays returning items to Amazon like that?

    The few returns I sent back were usually untrackable after they reached Dublin.

    My experience was:

    * Sent from Cork.
    * Trackable 'till it arrived in Dublin (to be shipped to Amazon in UK by Cycleon)
    * No tracking after that until about 3 days later I got my refund :)

    There's been a ton of snow about NI and the UK so it's probably help up because of that. Give it a week or so and you should have your refund I'd say.
