I think its fairly shocking. I thought it was bad charging hefty enough money for basic ports of roms...now they want to charge for a port of the port. Anyone who bought titles should have the use of them for free on the Wii U. Sure when the Wii U 2 comes out, do you have to pay for a port of the port of a port?

Yeah you can still use them as they are. But if you want off-tv play you pay 99c/1.49 more. So at least they're not stopping you using them so you have to download again.

AGAIN It's not news if you watched the Direct.

Best NintendoDirect by far, last few months Nintendo getting flamed for no new content,
but its only been 2 months since launch, we have no patience

But after latest Direct everyones now excited again for coming games and E3.
And rightly so, even few glimpes and screenshots so enough,
3D Mario Wii U and MKart, Smash Bros, Yoshi , new Zelda and Zelda Wind Waker.

Cant wait for Wind waker HD, the Sea on Gamecube was too vast and time consuming and they prob fix this along with easier controls and Miiverse it help on parts where you'd easily get stumbed,
no more GameGuides needed

Plus Maybe they add WiiMote Motion Controls

Plus VC and 2 updates coming and 3rd party Direct some time soon

if metal gear games actually came to the wiiu console , there is no point i ever need a ps console ever again , which will help my wallet cause i didnt want to shell out for multiple consoles again cause its too hard to buy all those games.

metal gear, sonic and mortal kombat i tend to play the most so we already know sonic coming, mortal kombat i think will come since its always being on a nintendo system. that only leaves metal gear

I gave up on hoping for GTAV on the Wii and continued with a new XBL account. I really thought that was going to be my access to a WiiU, I just can't warrant a purchase without software I truly want.

You can play them on your Wii U on the "Wii menu" after transferring them from your Wii console. :pac:

Does it let you transfer your saves, or is it just a nominal transfer of a VC purchase to your WiiU account, which you subesquently have to re-download from the shop?

Nah, save data is transferred as well. Normality is resumed.
