Had Gards Virus, rebooted, now gone?

Hi All Had the Garda virus screen this morning, it asked me to accept the opening of some .dll file, i didnt. I then reboted the pc but i missed the safe mode prompt and it went back to windows but now the garda screen is not up. Now I know its still there somewhere but the question I have is, would my pc's kespersky 2012…

Hi All

Now I know its still there somewhere but the question I have is, would my pc's kespersky 2012 or adaware find it or should I use somthing else?

kaspersky may as its an excellent AV, and probably stopped you getting badly infected

ad-aware isn't great, use malwarebytes instead

So I presume it wouldnt hurt to run malwarebytes after kaspersky gives me the all clear anyway?

I would definitely run it after Kaspersky. Feel free to post the logs from the two of them here if you wish
