    yes and no,

    they don't really exist in Ireland due to the fact there is a 6month time limit between getting your provisional and getting a full license.
    In the UK that rule doesn't exist. you can start learning on Monday and have a full license on Friday.

    I have seen instructors here in ireland that offer 'crash courses' where they take you through the edt etc in a week of intensive classes, but you would still have to have a provisional for 6 months before applying for your test.
    Its not quite the same as the uk ones,
