Im a 23 year female provisional with 1 years named driver experience. Finding massive differences in the quotes I've got so far for getting my own policy. What companies has everyone found the best value?

Got the best quote so far of €913 with Asgard on quoteme.ie but i have never heard of them before so just wondering has anyone had any good or bad experiences with them?

    Thanks!!

I wouldn't be too concerned with what company it is being honest. Just compare the cover, take note of the excess and find the cheapest.

Ring around to a few brokers, I can't emphasise the ring bit enough. Online quoting systems are pretty awful.

Try Tesco insurance, they where the cheapest I found and I rang everywhere! Mine is €420 I'm 23 aswell and I have a provisional but I do have 3 years no claims but as far as I know the discount I get isn't that big so maybe you will get a good deal with them.

I've been with Asgard 12 months now. Underwritten by llyods and prob the nicest people I've ever dealt with over the phone!

Thanks very much everyone for your replys!! :) got the best price down to €880 with Asgard through Britton Insurance in Donegal Town, also got good quotes from First Ireland Kildare and Munster Group in Clare so can recommended them 3 for anyone with a provisional license! tried Tesco but they only accept those with 3 years named driver experience or 1 previous year with your own policy. Thanks all the same! :)
