    From AA roadwatch:

    Following heavy snowfall, the Wicklow Gap and Sally Gap are impassable. Snow has also been reported around Roundwood, Laragh, Annamoe and Aughrim.

    it has not stopped snowing in sandyford all morning but its not sticking and its really heavy. :mad:

    Same in dundrum. Lovely to look at if you dont look at the ground. But depressing when you look down and see it is not sticking.

    Ah sure dis a lovely sunny day in good auld snow-proof Cork... nice n mild... this could be our summer sunshine people.... to the beach fellow Corkanions :D let the rest of the country pray their rain n sleet magically turns to snow!:P

    The GFS shows snow for over the weekend into Monday.

    Here the temperature fell in the rain during the night from 7.3C to 2.4C so there was a lot of cooling going on within the front, now it has warmed up again to 6.9C.
