Well, I think you're not being very helpful and would be better off not posting to be honest. Not everyone knows how to spot fakes and its better that they ask for advice than just click blindly.

It was a serious question. Scammers rely on people turning common sense off when they turn a computer on. Thereby falling for things they would never do in any other interaction in their daily life.

I agree but my point is that, in general, it is better that someone ask when they are unsure rather than click to "see what happens" and if they ask and the answer is "what do you think" with no more information than that then its off putting for others when they are unsure whether or not they should ask a question that they may uncertain of asking in case they are laughed at for being a n00b.

A simple yes would have been better than something that reads like "RTFM". better agian would be yes + supporting evidence and better yet again would be yes + a link to or a paragraph on how to spot spam/phishing emails.

the best security measure is user education after all.
