Krone Big M mk1 bed

    Anyone kow if the bed on a Krone Big M Mk1 is the same as that on a Kuhn?

    I'm looking for a bed for a Kuhn GMD 800 G2 and I know that some of the beds JD or others are the same as the Kuhn ones.

    no krone only, kuhn are fitted to most jds of the same age and i think some parts are also in jf but not sure of jf beds, did u price new?

    we fitted a new bed in our 283 krone and was surprised at how cheap it was if count buying a secondhand gamble, 2200 all in sterling

    I got a ball park figure for the plate and 16 bearings that I need, I asked the dealer a few times but he never gave me the proper quote or the diagrams so I could get the part number for the 2 gears I need. I was talking to a fella who had the Big M beds and thought this was a way out of the problem.

    Getting to that time of year so I'd better try that dealer again. If you know a good Kuhn dealer I could call, let me know, but maybe price is always the same.

    try jmc parts in west cork-quoted me 3500 for a khun bed but he does parts for most mowers
