    Hi
I am looking for some pieces (6 or 8) of acrylic or as I still call it "perspex" about 20"x 10" to make a shelving unit anybody know where to get them ? ideally offcuts at a good price I would say 3-5 mill would be grand.
    Thanks

Not sure where you are based but you can get it here http://www.accessplastics.com/about-us/ Also B&Q sell some sheets of perspex.

Yea, 5mm polycarbonate would be good, I got lots of it from
http://goldstarplastics.ie/ you could rock up with a cutting list and they'd prob cut it for you on the spot.

But if it is a shelf in a bathroom etc, in my experience glass is better - it just looks better, and when you clean it with Widowlene or whatever, it just looks...better. Plus, it doesn't scratch. Get glass from local glazing supplier, check golden pages.

Try A C Taylor they are on East Wall Road and they do glass and plastics.

Are you using it for the doors or for the shelves?
