Missing Tesco Credit Card DD

    I normally pay off my Credit Card by DD each month. The last payment was due on 29/12. With no obvious sign of the payment having been taken, I checked my online banking again this morning and there is still nothing showing on my account, but I rang my CC company who say they received payment on the 29th!

    The DD would not have bounced as there were sufficient funds in my account

    I presume this will catch up with me eventually, but it seems to be taking a long time..

    I would check with your bank. The DD would have been collected by Tesco with a value date of 29th and should have been debited from your account on the same day.

    It caught up with me this morning - 13 calendar days later..

    No actually I'm with Danske, but I dont think the problem was at their end.
