Just bought a whole bunch of components and was happily assembling my new rig whe i noticed that the 4 pin ATX connection from the psu to the mobo was about an inch too short so i can't even power on all my shiny new bits and pieces

These extenders do exist and maplin sell them in the UK but i have my doubts the blanchardstown shop will have them. Has anyone actually bought one in Dublin? Or even better, does anyone have a spare they would sell?

My only other option is to dig up the old soldering iron and do it myself but I would prefer not to obviously

Had a check of my spare bits drawer, unfortunately none of these
It wouldn't take too long to get one off ebay though.
I've got a brand new 500W psu I'm selling on adverts that has long cables coming from it. I'm in Glasnevin if you want to make an offer.:)

Maplins do sell them, I got one in the Galway store before when I had the same problem. PC World also stock components and accessories of that kind, so you could try there either.

Great, I'll see what they have in blanchardstown then before cutting up my psu
