Have you heard the Dylan original? One of my favourite tracks from The Basement Tapes. Pretty great album all round, though I tend to skip the non-Dylan songs by The Band (which aren't bad but you can't start listening to wacky Dylan and then interrupt it with someone who's not Dylan..).
A good cover anyway. Fairport Convention do another excellent cover of Dylan's If You Gotta Go Go Now, only they sing it in French and transform it into a foot-stompin' Cajun song.

Thundermonster is class! The Rain is a bit meh, but I still like it a bit. And I've said before I love Black Chandelier.
The Rockness recording of Many of Horror was a bit unnecessary though. It's a good recording, but it's not one of their best live songs by any stretch of the imagination.0 -

Had a listen to the Dylan version there but I prefer the FC cover.
Speaking of The Band, I cant stop listening to this. The yodelling part is great.

Been listening to a very random mix of stuff lately...
In a bid to psyche myself up for Biffy's new album later this month, I went and bought copies of The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land, as they were the only two of their albums I didn't have. Listening to the Vertigo of Bliss today, and came across this song. It fast became one of my favourites on the album.

I came across Blackmill again during the week on shuffle. Can't remember if I've linked stuff from him before, but this is brilliant at any rate. The album (Miracle) is definitely worth picking up, so easy to just chill out with it on in the background.
And finally, I also rediscovered Yohanna through Shuffle yesterday. Forgot how class she is. This song was in the Eurovision in 2009, and is one of my all time favourite Eurovision songs, and is a bloody brilliant song in it's own right. She was robbed by that Norwegian twat and his violin! ROBBED!
