And I kind of fell into a nostalgia wormhole on YT, and came across this. I remember the summer this was released, sitting out the front of my Nana's house with some of my cousins with a little portable radio blaring this out as we just sat around in the sun. Simpler times:

^ Hot Rats is one of the greatest albums of all-time. Some superb instrumentals and adding Beefheart to that track was inspired. Also enjoyed Twins, must check out Segall's other two albums from last year.

Listened to a lot of Yo La Tengo yesterday. This is a good'un.

Chris Cornell fronting Porcupine Tree would be interesting alright. Great singer.

Not a fan of his contemporary Eddie Vedder though, just find his voice irritating personally. Not denying he's a good singer.

I can get onto the write-up, and the image that you can click to buy from iTunes is there, but the actual album stream isn't there for me anymore...
