Migratory routes could have provided a lot of food for big predators just like gnu (wildebeest) do for Nile crocodiles I suppose.

Some believe T-Rex was not territorial, instead constantly following migratory or nomadic herds of hadrosaurs and trikes around, waiting to prey on the weak and the wounded...
