Just wondering, where did everyone meet their significant other / other half / partner / whatever designation you happen to use?

I read a study in the metro (Which might as well be made up) which said that 25% meet through work. And something like 40% meet through friends. But I have the impression that a lot of Irish people drunkenly fall on someone and it happens to work out.

So AH, how have those of you in relationships met your other half?

I met her in Portugal during the summer of '07. I was hanging out at a hotel bar and bumped into her when was looking for the people she was with. The rest is history.

Ah lads, these survey questions are getting ridiculous!

I met her in the boilerhouse when we both took a wrong turn.

We BOTH took a wrong turn. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! :pac:

I was moving house and was trying to load my van with some furniture. I had recently hurt my arm and it was in a cast. I was doing alright till I got to the couch. Luckily a beautiful woman happened to be walking down the street who was kind enough to help me out. I guess you could say we've never parted since.
