Can anyone recommend an app which will sync/back up my phone to my NAS? I dont want to back up entire phone, as my contacts and apps are already backed up through my google account. It would mostly be for photos taken on the phone. Preferably would sync once it connects to the home network.

    Thanks

Dropbox or Google+ apps do this

Seems to be a highly rated one

Thanks that app seems to be exactly what I was looking for. It seems to be having some problems accessing the folders on the NAS however, must look in to it further. I didnt think Dropbox and Google plus would sync with NAS? Just to the 'cloud'?

Depends on the NAS, Synology has a Dropbox client. Dropbox not only syncs to the cloud but also syncs folders between pc's and devices through the cloud. Google+ just syncs to the cloud which can be handier, view in any browser, Android phone etc. Both would be better than depending on a mechanical device. No harm in having both for guaranteed backup, you can still use the other app posted

I must look in to those options as some extra security. Got the Sweet Home app working after, just gave the NAS a static IP address and pointed the app to it. Worked fine after that. Thank you both for your help.
