Just wanted something cheap to throw in the shed for the overflow...
Anything out there or advice ?

I also read a review for one and it claimed the unit had to be in a room at 16deg ?? whats that about ?

Make sure whatever fridge freezer you get is designed for use in a garage/shed. Parents have both a chest freezer and fridge freezer in their shed and any time temps go below a certain temp the fridge freezer shuts off. The freezer part then defrosts and they've lost food a good few times. Think it happens when the external air temp is equal or less than the temp of the fridge (3 or 4 degrees, depending on your setting). The fridge doesn't need to work once the temp it's set at is the same as the outside temp. Freezer part shuts off automatically along with the fridge.

Chest freezer has never shut off in any temperature. They're designed to stay on all the time.
