Connecting tablet to wireless network

    When I try and connect my android tablet to wireless in my house it says ''Authentication Problem'. The tablet has connected to other wifi networks outside of the house. I'm with Eircom. Any ideas how to connect

    are u entering your wep key correctly?

    You shouldn't be using wep its far too easy to crack.

    As for the authentication problem are you sure you are connecting to your network not someone else's?

    The encryption type and password must match those set on your router.

    dont use the serial number. its the 'key'

    Is the ariel connected properly? A loose ariel will cause connection problems. It happened me in the past and once I had fixed the connection all was well again.

    Had the same issue and it turns out the tablet would not connect due to the netopia router being on WEP (same issue with Sky On-Demand).
