    Foxsat-HDR/500 + Saorview Receiver

    I live in Ireland.
I have a Sky HD receiver which also runs to my bedroom via a magic eye.
I want to get rid of Sky.
I must ask a few questions.
Can I feed the Humax & the Saorview receiver to my bedroom & control them through the one magic eye?

My second thought is can I run the Humax to my bedroom through the magic eye & install a Saorview receiver via HDMI to my bedroom TV.
i have a modern enough TV in my bedroom but it's not Saorview approved hence the need to install a Saorview receiver in my bedroom.
My downstairs TV is Saorview approved all right but I need to run BOTH receivers from my living room & bedroom.

    Any thoughts?

Magic eye won't work with the Humax or Saorview receivers.

You could use one of these Triax Trilink units to control the satellite receiver remotely. For Saorview the best option is a standalone STB beside the TV connected via HDMI.

Is the any way I can run both the Humax & the Saorview receivers from downstairs to upstairs using this link, or would I have to run a different cable for the Saorview?

When you say Saorview receiver downstairs are you referring to the Saorview TV or a separate Saorview STB?

    Saorview STB.

As you say your downstairs TV is Saorview I'd just install the Saorview STB next to the bedroom TV and use a Trilink to control the Humax receiver downstairs.
